MIXED DYSLIPIDAEMIA |
Adult:
1 tab once daily with meals. |

Administration |
Uncomplicated myalgia, patients who consume substantial quantities of alcohol and have a history of liver disease. |

Precautions |
Pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, hepatitis, cholecystitis, hepatomegaly, rhabdomyolysis; hypersensitivity. |

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Abnormal liver function tests, abdominal pain, back pain, resp disorder, rhinitis. Increase in SGOT, SGPT and creatinine phosphokinase. Constipation, flatulence, dyspepsia, headache, nausea, myalgia, asthenia, diarrhoea, insomnia. |

Interactions |
Co-administration with antacids susp decreased atorvastatin levels. Plasma levels of atorvastatin decreased with co-administration of colestipol. Decrease in antihyperlipidaemic activity may occur with propranolol. Fenofibrate increases the clotting time and causes bleeding complications when co-administered with oral anticoagulants. Oral anticoagulants, concurrent admin of ciclosporin, fibric acid derivatives, niacin, erythromycin, azole antifungal, antacid, colestipol, digoxin and oral contraceptives. Food increases the bioavailability of fenofibrate. |
